Insa Oil was established in 2001 and is one of the leading companies for manufacturing and distribution of petroleum products in Bulgaria. It is dynamically developing corporative structure, which applies in all of its activities integrated operative manner with high multiplication effect. The application of innovative and high technological industrial developments and decisions are the foundation and consequentially the basic factor for progressive development and tremendous success of the company. The company has own manufacturing base. The manufacturing processes and all products of the company correspond to the world quality standards. The company applies management systems for quality, environment and safe work conditions, certified in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Insa Oil has its own refinery for manufacture and processing of petroleum products. The design, construction and equipment of the plant correspond to the requirements of the world standards for the fuel chemical industry. In the process of its installation the best existing techniques have been used, recommended by the regulations of EU as Best Available Techniques. For the design and installation of the manufacturing and treating facilities and the work sites, the experience of leading Bulgarian and foreign experts has been used. In February 2010 Insa Oil started the exploitation of a new plant for production of fuel. The installation of the type desulfurization plant is the first of its kind in Bulgaria and utilizes the most contemporary technology for production of ultimately sulfur treated fuels – diesel and industrial gasoil. The new plant uses the method for desulfurization of middle distillate fractions with hydrogen. The diesel produced by the plant corresponds to the requirements of the highest European standard Euro-5, according to which the sulfur content does not exceed 10 parts per million (10 ppm). The industrial gasoil is in compliance with the strict European requirements and the sulfur content shall not exceed 0.1%. Over 200 companies in Bulgaria are clients of “Insa Oil”. The company trades with an average of over 150 000 tones of petroleum products per year. Insa Oil has its own petroleum tanker, 34 road truck tanks and 35 railway tanks. The logistic capacity of the company guarantees effective realization of the supplies. They reach the clients fast, accurately and in strict compliance with the standards and requirements for transportation of fuels and petroleum products. The independent accredited complex testing laboratory controls in operative plan the whole manufacturing process in the company. It is equipped with modern apparatuses and is accredited according to the international standard BSS EN ISO/IEС 17025. The laboratory guarantees high quality of the products as well as creation and application of product and technological innovative researches.
