Naftex Petrol is a subsidiary the biggest distributor of fuels in Bulgaria – Petrol AD – and is one of the biggest wholesalers of liquid fuels in the country. Ever since its establishment in 1999, Naftex Petrol has been a mainstay of the principles of competitive trade on the Bulgarian market for petroleum products. Owing to its technical, technological, financial, and human resources, Naftex Petrol has successfully realised its vision of the fuel market – a market based on transparency, with open and clear terms and conditions of trade and competitive prices. Naftex Petrol operates the country’s largest network of technical facilities for storage and sales of fuels, with a total capacity of 400,000 cu m and over 100,000 sq m of covered storage space. The facility network consists of thirteen oil depots, situated in location strategic for the country. In 2004, a 5-year large-scale investment programme, amounting to more than 50 000 thousand BGN, was launched to expand and enhance the technical capabilities for sales, measurement, and storage of petroleum products, alongside with investments in environment-friendly and high-tech solutions. Naftex Petrol uncompromisingly maintains the quality of the fuels and monitors it both upon arrival and in storage by means of the laboratories pertaining to the oil depots. The certified laboratories in Varna and Bourgas are in possession of the most advanced technologies for analysis and quality control of the offered products. Naftex Petrol offers its customers an integrated service – a possibility for electronic order and subsequent real-time tracking of the dispatches; sales with an option to deliver to the customer’s facilities by road and/or rail; an option for a deferred payment plan; bailment of fuels and storage under the Mandatory Stocks of Crude Oil and Petroleum Products Act; storage, distribution, and logistics of oils and packaged petroleum products.
