was established in 1999 by the major companies active in the Petroleum and Gas industry in Bulgaria: "PETROL" AD, "SHELL BULGARIA" EAD, "OVERGAS INC" AD, "SHELL GAS BULGARIA" AD, "TOPLIVO" AD. Nowadays members of the Association are also "OMV Bulgaria" EOOD, "Eco petroleum" and "Prista Oil" The Association was founded under the conditions of State monopoly in the petroleum industry. more..

A member of the Association may become any company, involved in the petroleum and gas industry. more..

Activities

The Association activities include:

1. developing the free initiative and the basic principles of the market economy;
a) preventing the misuse of a monopolist position on the market in this sphere, unfair competition and other actions which may lead to violation of the market principles.
b) encouraging the freedom of enterprise in the production, trade and services related to petroleum and gas products and the free formation of prices;
c) safeguarding the interests of consumers. more..
